The early 2000s has housed some of the best Tv shows. I cannot count the number of times i have rewatched movies from the early 2000s. Most of these shows are still being shown on popular streaming services and you can easily catch up on them. If you want to feel a bit nostalgic, you could probably get these shows on DVRs and binge-watch all of them.

We want to throw you not so far back in time to talk about some of our favorite TV shows that kept us going (and in some cases, just ended recently!)!

1. The Wire (2002-2008)

If you love a good crime show, The Wire is the show for you. The Wire is about a detective being in charge of a drug case who tries to bring down a drug kingpin. There are five seasons to this show and they build upon each other. This series is very well-planned as we get to see the sides from the detective and the drug cartel.

This has to be one of the best shows being released from the early 2000s. I guarantee this is a show you will love!

2. The Office (2005-2013)

I might be the a bit bias as I believe this has to be my personal favorite and best 2000s show. The characters in this show were well written, and it is hard not to get attached to each one of them. The Office is a show about the lives of a group of office workers who work in a paper company which is slowly dying. What makes this show so different is the characters are aware that they are being recorded and look at the camera every now and then. This makes it look like they are interacting with you.

3. The Big Bang Theory (2007-2019)

The Big Bang Theory is about a group of friends who are socially awkward but very smart who have a beautiful aspiring actress move across the hall from them. This show takes a turn as the actress tries to make them less socially awkward. As this is going on, one of the characters takes a love interest in the lady and tries to get her to be his girlfriend. This show is very comedical and will get you laughing.

Bazinga is Sheldon’s catchphrase and you will hear this a lot in the show. Why not rock a Bazinga t-shirt while at it?

4. Family Guy (1999-present)

Family guy is an adult swim show (meaning it’s a cartoon show for adults) based in a Rhode Island. It is about a clearly dysfunctional family who have to cope with everyday life. This show is not for kids as it has a lot of explicit content. However, it is a very entertaining show which you will be binge watching for months to come!

5. Firefly (2002-2003)

Futuristic shows have always been a hit as they make people wonder how the world could be a couple years from now. Firefly is a show set 500 years in the future, which is about a crew aboard a spaceship who travel to different parts of the galaxy. Firefly is a very short but interesting tv show of about 14 episodes.

Firefly was cancelled and left many people sad. However, that does not mean you cannot keep its legacy going with this awesome t-shirt

Keep up with everything DAD
