Daddy’s Digest was honored to be one of the very first to view the newly-launched limited-edition capsule collection, that blends two iconic brands — The Ritz-Carlton Montreal and Holt Renfrew Ogilvy.
The collection, named Ritz-Carlton Montreal x Holt Renfrew, is available exclusively at Holt Renfrew Ogilvy in Montreal as of June 17. The ready-to-wear line features 19 pieces, including both apparel and accessories. The collection is designed for those who value classic style and understated elegance, reflecting the prestige and sophistication associated with the Ritz-Carlton and Holt Renfrew Ogilvy. These are perfect gifts for your special someone, or a treat for yourself to impress your friends. One woman who came to the opening launch told the staff that she wanted to buy special mementos for her grown daughter and her fiancé. A gentleman came in to buy a notebook, a bag and a tee shirt for his daughter, fresh for her upcoming camp experience.
Katia Piccolino, Director of Sales and Marketing/PR at Ritz-Carlton Montreal, described the collection as a fusion of lifestyle and culture, inspired by the rich histories of both institutions. She emphasized that the pieces are crafted to embody “chic, quiet luxury,” blending sophistication with enduring style.
The Ritz-Carlton Montreal, located in the heart of the city’s downtown, has been a symbol of refined luxury since its opening in 1912. Today it features 129 redesigned guestrooms and suites, along with 45 luxury residences. The hotel has hosted a distinguished list of guests over the years, from royalty to renowned artists and political figures.
Natalie Lord, Divisional Vice-President and General Manager at Holt Renfrew Ogilvy, highlighted the long-standing relationship between the two brands, which spans more than a century. She noted that the capsule collection pays tribute to the enduring allure and values of the Ritz, offering modern pieces for those who appreciate effortless style.
Prices for the collection range from $40 CAD for a Ritz Pocket Notebook to $180 CAD for a unisex Ritz Crewneck Fleece. The collection will be updated with new items for the fall and winter seasons, but will only be available until December 2025. Each piece is designed to reflect the subtle refinement and rich textures that characterize the Ritz-Carlton experience.
