The Dad Cave, a Canadian fatherhood parenting platform, is pleased to announce a new collaboration with JACS Toronto, a leading and trusted non-profit resource in the prevention and treatment of addiction, including drugs, alcohol, sex addiction and more. JACS Toronto is offers free of charge, adult, student, and youth outreach programs about mental health and addiction. These programs can be customized for your needs, or you can choose from a list of important current topics. The Dad Cave is a new mental health and dad-to-dad meetup membership launched by Daddy’s Digest; a digital publication centered on the growing role of fathers within the family.
The Dad Cave is now available to all members of the JACS Community. This new collaboration will allow The Dad Cave and Daddy’s Digest to provide more resources for fathers coping with their own addictions and traumas, helping fathers and father figures to feel less alone and find resources and a way to be their best selves for their families.
The primary goal of the Dad Cave is to amplify the voices of fathers in the hopes of preventing mental health issues. “The pandemic has really impacted fathers’ mental health -it is imperative we create safe spaces for men to go where they can meet other dads who get it” says CEO of Daddy’s Digest and mom of two, Zoe Share. “We aim to amplify more fathers’ voices and needs through this collaboration, as well as offer a sense of community.”
Members of The Dad Cave will also have the chance to be featured regularly on Daddy’s Digest, showcasing fatherhood challenges and stories of recovery of everyday parents.
