Tell us about your company:

Men On Fire Corp is a coaching and speaking business that I founded a few years ago as I found there was a strong need to support men AND women today. I mostly work with men around changing the language that they use with themselves and others so that they can write a better story for their life. Change your thoughts, change your language, change your actions, change your life.

Why did you start or decide to work at your company?

There is a huge gap in mental health support.

Tell us about your family!

I’m the oldest of 6 from a blended family. Had a challenging childhood, married 9 years, divorced with 2 kids. Boy 17 girl 21. I’ve owned a successful welding business since 2006 and in the last few years discovered personal development, coaching and speaking. I’m engaged to an amazing woman who is a coach for women.

What was the hardest thing about becoming a dad?

Actually, becoming a dad was easy! I was in a really great place at that time. I ran into all my struggles AFTER becoming a dad the second time. Having solid guidance and place where I could get some actual solid support was that hardest part.

Has being a dad impacted your career? How?

I made the decision to NOT work away from home while my kids were still in school. This came with certain financial implications and has also allowed me to be available for my kids, which was most important to me.

What’s one thing you’ve learned from your child/ children?

To not take the things that my children do so personally. There is no manual for parenting lol. They know not what they do.

Keep up with everything DAD
