AFEL, THE LEBANESE NGO THAT HAS BEEN RESTORING CHILDHOOD SINCE 1976

In Lebanon, violence, abuse, neglect, and exploitation still affect the majority of the children as per a study published by the UNCEF.

Of AFEL's children, 85% come from a violent family, 75% have at least one parent who is a drug addict, 63% have difficulties in school, 50% have parents with psychological disorders, and 43% don't have access to medical care and proper nutrition.

AFEL works with these children and their families to help them become strong independent adults with a real chance at a future, a better future.

AFEL LIBAN, has been restoring childhood since 1976, with over 5000 children cared for to date. Sadly, children still experience different types of abuse around the globe. We all have a responsibility to end abuse against children, and help heal their scars.

Every child deserves happiness, love and care. Let's not turn a blind eye anymore. You can make a difference. Join us today in our fight and say NO TO CHILD ABUSE.
