A Mummy's Ode to a Glass of Wine

  • A Mummy's Ode to a Glass of Wine

You glisten well, within your sphere

Ruby red, wet and fair

I care not this night for beer

But for wine with notes of pear

Kids asleep up in their beds.

They best not move one inch or tread

Upon the step or down the stair

For this thought I cannot bear

Just one glass of you is all I ask

To get me through this night and fast

For the children sleep and I am tired

Ooo “Game of Thrones” is on!

What has transpired?
